HOWCO Environmental Services offers used oil, waster water and fuel collection and treatment.

HOWCO Environmental Services owns and operates a used oil recycling facility that serves all of Florida. Incoming oils and fuels are stored and then processed into on-specification industrial fuels meeting ASTM standards. These fuels are then marketed to licensed industrial burners throughout the State of Florida. All used oils are pre-screened in the field and analyzed again by our in-house laboratory upon being received at our facility to ensure quality.

HOWCO Environmental Services owns and operates a dissolved air flotation wastewater treatment facility. Incoming product is first analyzed to determine treatability and conformity with HOWCO Environmental Service's acceptance standards.

Upon approval, oily waters, petroleum contact water, marine bilges and other industrial wastewaters are off loaded into vertical holding tanks. Pre-treatment studies are conducted. The liquids are then treated until they reach acceptable discharge parameters. At this time, liquids are discharged to the City of St. Petersburg P.O.T.W.
